made clients.
We designed this family home with a combination of both light and deep hues, emphasising the naturally darker rooms to create a moody yet elegant interior. Rather than fight the spaces that see less sun, we leaned into them, wrapping the front sitting room in near black and letting the brass, velvet and timber do the warming.
The kitchen and dining areas were designed with entertaining in mind, providing ample space for the host to spend time with their guests. We made use of natural light wherever possible in this home, most of all in the glazed side return, to help create a feeling of freshness against the moody spaces.
It is a home of deliberate contrasts: dark and light, polished and raw, and all the warmer for it.
