Notting Hill
The Brief
I'm just a girl,

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Notting Hill, this beautiful mews house was designed as a pied a terre for a busy Londoner: somewhere to land, switch off and feel instantly at home. We wanted to honour its charismatic surroundings with a scheme that felt fun yet practical, easy to live in and full of personality.
Greens, blues and warm neutrals are mixed throughout, giving the house a modern, characterful feel that works just as hard for working from home as it does for slow weekends.
The result is a home that feels far bigger than its footprint, the sort of place you walk into and, well, tell it you love it.

The Kitchen
Every inch,
working hard.

Mews homes are typically modest in size, so we optimised functionality in every area through strategic spatial planning and bespoke joinery. A compact run of deep green cabinetry, brass hardware and a panelled ceiling turns a small footprint into a proper, characterful cook's kitchen.

With limited natural light to work with, we kept the walls a fresh, soft white and let saturated greens and blues bring the character. Sage built-in joinery frames a marble fireplace, a burnt orange chair adds warmth, and a layered antique rug grounds the whole room.
“It is small but it never feels it. Every corner has been thought about, and it is exactly the calm, characterful little bolthole I hoped for in the middle of London. The Client

The Bedroom
Blue above,
amber within.
amber within.
In the bedroom a deep blue ceiling and matching woodwork wrap the room from above, balanced by warm amber curtains and an olive velvet headboard. Ticking stripe and tasselled linens keep it relaxed, while a vintage timber bedside and a milk glass wall light add quiet, collected character.
